Why Microfiber is so Amazing?

 Are you cleaning your kitchen counter-tops with a sponge or a cotton cloth of some sort?  Try using a high quality microfiber-you will be amazed!  Microfiber cloths are different than cotton cloths for a couple of different reasons.  Check this out!1.  When cleaning a surface with a high quality microfiber cloth, your can reduce the number of bacteria and dust particles on a surface by 99%. A cotton cloth may only reduce the surface of bacteria and dust particles by 33%! With a good effective microfiber, you won't need a separate cleaning solution to clean with. If you are into chemical free cleaning, you will love the microfiber cloths!2.  A high quality microfiber can hold up to 6x their weight in water and are great at absorbing oils-much better than a cotton cloth or a sponge.3.  Microfibers are made from densely constructed polyester and nylon material that are 1/6 the thickness of a human hair. (Wow!) It's like they have tons of tiny fingers to grab up the particles with.4.  If you use microfiber in the bathrooms for cleaning too, make sure you use different colors in the bathrooms and kitchen so you don't cross contaminate your areas when cleaning.5.  You have to be careful when washing your microfibers.  You never want to wash your microfibers with anything other than other microfibers (never wash them with cotton items), wash them in hot water (but not scalding hot water), don't use bleach or fabric softeners in them and hang drying them will make them last a lot longer. If you must dry them, use a low heat to dry them-not a high heat.6.  When cleaning with microfiber cloths, make sure to remove all dry dust particles first (such as dry bread crumbs, hair, things like that). They will be much easier to clean with if the dry dust is removed first-this is very important.  I like to take a quick swipe over my counters with a cotton cloth to do this before I do the actual cleaning with the microfiber cloth.
