How are we cleaning your home?

We've been receiving lots of questions about how we are cleaning our customers homes and what are we using so I thought I would answer them via my blog. It seems while people really want their homes professionally cleaned, they are also very nervous about it and want some questions answered before hand. Here are the questions most often asked it seems!

1. What are you using to clean my home? We are currently using a hospital grade disinfectant cleaner called CDC-10 by Spartan Chemicals. We feel it is the best option at this time while there is a heightened concern about viruses.

2. Are you wearing masks and gloves when you are cleaning? Yes, while we are cleaning homes we are wearing masks as well as brand new nitrile gloves in each home we clean. We dispose of our gloves each time we leave the home we are cleaning and sanitize hands before and after cleaning. And as usual, we only use fresh, clean, disinfected cleaning cloths and mop heads in each home we clean. We NEVER reuse any cleaning cloths or mop heads from home to home. We disinfect our white cotton cleaning cloths with Clorox Bleach and use Lysol Laundry Sanitizer (which is known to kill coronavirus) on our microfiber cloths and mop heads.

3. How are you practicing social distancing from you customers? There are various options. Some of our customers stay in a separate room with the door closed, some leave the home while we are there cleaning and some simply leave us a level to ourselves to clean in.

4. Do you disinfect your supplies and equipment? Yes, we are disinfecting our supplies and equipment on a daily basis. We also disinfect the company vehicles each evening!

These are the most common questions asked these days about cleaning homes. We have also asked our employees that no one come in to work sick, not even with the slightest cough. If you have any other questions we can answer, please email me at office@kidwellkleaning.com or call our office at 301-698-9084.
