Try Vacuuming in the Dark-Here's Why!

 I stumbled across something pretty amazing last night, vacuuming in the dark!  I realize this sounds strange but hear me out. Unfortunately I need to vacuum every evening since my dog sheds. I should start by saying my vacuum has a light on it. I've always vacuumed with the room light on (as most of us probably do).  First, I vacuumed my kitchen and then went into my bedroom to vacuum. The light in my bedroom didn't work, but I continued vacuuming. I was pleasantly surprised when I realized that I could see just fine, since my vacuum had a light on it.As it turns out, I was able to see everything on the floor a whole lot better with just my vacuum light shining and all other lights turned off! It's like there was a spot light right on the floor area where I was vacuuming! I was curious to see what I missed in the kitchen where I had already vacuumed.  When I vacuumed with the lights out, I found that I missed quite a bit of hair and dust just because I couldn't see it as well with the room light on.So I've decided to vacuum in the dark from now on because I can see what is on the floor so much better!  What a crazy eye opening experience! Give vacuuming in the dark a try, if your vacuum has a light on it, and you'll be amazed! (This picture doesn't do my whole experience justice by the way, but it was the best one I could get!)
